Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F
  • Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan
  • In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon
  • In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  • Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in bananas, milk, and vanilla extract
  • Gently mix in the dry ingredients well Fold in the chopped walnuts
  • Pour your batter in the loaf pan and smooth down the top
  • Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then flip it onto a wire rack to cool completely
