Biscuits and Sausage Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of frozen biscuits ( I used Mary B’s)
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk ( I prefer whole )
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Grease pan with stick of butter , line with biscuits and bake to package directions
  • Melt 2 tbs of butter and brown sausage in skillet
  • Once browned add flour, make sure it’s well combined
  • Cook about 60 seconds stirring regularly
  • Then add milk 1 cup at a time
  • Letting it thicken between each cup
  • Stir regularly
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Melt rest of your butter and about five minutes before your biscuits are done brush tops and return to oven
  • Now your gravy should have simmered and be about ready
  • Taste and adjust salt and pepper
  • Once biscuits are done
  • Serve and enjoy !
