Cheddar Bay Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 box cheddar bay biscuit mix
  • . 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. all-purpose seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic)
  • 6-8 strips bacon or breakfast meat of choice
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill or oven to 375°F.
  • Lightly grease an 8x8 casserole dish and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, prepare the biscuit mix according to the package instructions.
  • Spread the prepared biscuit mixture evenly into the bottom of the casserole dish.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and seasonings until well combined.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the biscuit layer.
  • Sprinkle the cheese and cooked bacon evenly over the top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  • Once baked, prepare the seasoning packet included with the biscuit mix and brush it evenly over the top while the casserole is still warm.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.
