Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Bombs

Soft cinnamon rolls stuffed with savory sausage, and cheese for the ultimate sweet-and-savory breakfast bite

Ingredients

  • 8 Cinnamon Rolls Pillsbury or similar
  • 8 Breakfast Sausage Patties cooked
  • 8 American Cheese
  • 1/4 C Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 C Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • Cook Sausage patties via your favorite way to cook, add cheese to melt on sausage while cooking - set aside and make sure all grease drains / drys from it. Use a paper towel to blot if needed.
  • Remove Cinnamon Rolls from package and separate, butterfly them in half and set aside
  • Prepare your coating mixture, add the cinnamon, sugar, salt & nutmeg to a flat plate, set aside
  • Once all items are ready, place the sausage / cheese inside the butterflied cinnamon roll and seal all the way around. Roll in the cinnamon/sugar mixture and place on baking sheet with ample space between each.
  • Place in oven and bake for 15-20 minutes
  • Optional - Glaze with cinnamon roll frosting from package.
  • Serve hot
