In a large mixing bowl, combine the asparagus, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Toss until the asparagus is evenly coated.
Gather 3-5 asparagus spears (depending on their thickness) into small bundles and wrap each bundle tightly with a slice of bacon.
On a shallow plate, mix together the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
Roll each bacon-wrapped bundle in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently so it adheres.
Place the bundles seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the asparagus is tender.
Serve warm.
