Ingredients

  • 2lbs. chicken wings
  • 3 tbsps. olive oil
  • 2 tbsps. all-purpose seasoning
  • 2 tbsps. BBQ seasoning
  • 2 tbsps. Seafood seasoning
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tbsps. Hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Seafood seasoning

Instructions

  • Pour the oil into your fryer or large pot and heat to 350°F.
  • Place the wings in a large mixing bowl and drizzle with the olive oil.
  • Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of each seasoning and toss until the wings are evenly coated.
  • In a large zip-top bag, combine the flour with 1 tablespoon of each seasoning and shake well to mix.
  • Add the seasoned wings to the flour mixture and shake until fully coated.
  • Carefully place the wings into the hot oil, working in batches to avoid overcrowding the fryer.
  • Fry for 6-8 minutes, or until the wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • For a crispier texture and more tender bite, cook until they reach 175°-185°F.
  • Once cooked, transfer the wings to a wire rack to drain any excess oil.
  • Meanwhile, add all of the sauce ingredients to a saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Place the cooked wings into a large bowl, pour the sauce over the top, and toss until evenly coated.
  • Serve immediately.
