In a mixing bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, and sugar. Whisk well and let sit for 5 minutes until the yeast becomes foamy.
Add the olive oil, salt, and flour to the bowl.
Mix on medium speed until a soft, smooth dough forms.
Lightly grease a bowl and transfer the dough to it. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into equal portions and roll into dough balls.
Press each dough ball into the cups of a greased muffin or cupcake pan, shaping the dough to create a crust.
Add your favorite pizza toppings.
Bake at 400°F for approximately 16 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown and crispy.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
