Grilled Pork Tenderloin Sandwich With Asian Slaw Recipe

Ingredients

  • Pork Tenderloin:
  • 1–2 pork tenderloins
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp BBQ rub (or your favorite — Drew's Dust works best)
  • Asian Slaw:
  • 1 bag coleslaw mix
  • 2–3 green onions, sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • Brioche buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1–2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • favorite sauce

Instructions

  • WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS!
  • 👏🧼🫧
  • Prep the pork Pat the tenderloin dry, drizzle with olive oil, and coat generously with your BBQ rub
  • Fire up the grill Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F)
  • Grill the tenderloin Place pork on the grill and cook, turning occasionally, until internal temp reaches: 140–145°F for juicy, slightly pink center 150°F+ if you prefer more done Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing
  • Make the Asian slaw In a bowl, combine coleslaw mix, green onions, and cilantro
  • In a separate bowl, whisk rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, soy sauce, salt, and pepper
  • Pour over slaw and toss well
  • Let it sit for 10–15 minutes to soak up flavor
  • Slice the pork Cut into thin slices for easy sandwich stacking
  • Toast the buns (optional but 🔥) Lightly toast brioche or Hawaiian rolls on the grill
  • Build the sandwich Bottom bun Sliced pork tenderloin Generous pile of Asian slaw Top bun top with favorite sauce
