Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Using a serrated knife, carefully slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the rolls connected, to create the top and bottom layers of your grilled cheese.
Place the bottom layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet and evenly sprinkle with cheese.
Gently place the top layer back on.
Brush the tops with melted butter.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
