Hawaiian Sliders with Pineapple Jalapeno Aioli

Ingredients

  • 1 Hawaiian Sweet Rolls King's Hawaiian or similar
  • 6 Slices Provolone Cheese
  • 1 LB Ham deli or leftover
  • 6 Pineapple Rings
  • 1/3 C Sugar
  • 2 TBSP Cinnamon

Pineapple Jalapeno Aioli

  • 1 C Mayo
  • 1 TBSP Pineapple Juice
  • 1 TSP Dijon Mustard
  • 1 TSP Honey
  • 1 Finely Diced Jalapeño seeds optional
  • 1/2 TSP Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 TSP Onion Powder
  • Salt & Pepper To Taste

Instructions

  • Start by mixing all ingredients together for Jalapeno Pineapple Aioli and set aside
  • Slice Hawaiian Rolls in half horizontally and remove top, place both halves on a baking sheet to toast to your preference level.
  • Toss pineapple rings in cinnamon sugar mixture, and grill on hot grill for 4-5 minutes. Take care to caramelize the sugars, but don't burn it
  • On the toasted bread, layer the ham, grilled pineapple, provolone, and spread the aioli liberally on top.
  • Place back in hot oven to melt cheese and toast buns to a golden finish. Remove before burning.
  • Slice and serve hot.
