Hot Honey Fried Shrimp: Easy Spicy Seafood Delight

Ingredients

  • Jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined.
  • TFTI Cajun Honey Rub.
  • Melinda’s Hot sauce.
  • Garlic paste.
  • 2 cup all purpose flour.
  • 1 beer.
  • 2 tbsps honey.
  • 2-3 cups veggie oil.
  • Stick of butter.

Instructions

  • Clean and dry off shrimp
  • Mix rub with a cup of flour
  • Dredge the shrimp in the seasoned flour
  • Mix 1 cup of flour with Rub, beer, hot sauce and honey
  • Should be pancake consistency
  • Heat oil to 375-385f
  • Dip the shrimp in the batter and carefully add to the oil
  • Fry for 3-5 minutes
  • Remove from oil and set on a cooling rack
  • To make the sauce, melt stick of butter, add the hot sauce, rub, garlic, and honey, mix until combined and thickened
  • Add the shrimp to a bowl and drizzle over the -Cajun honey butter
  • Toss until coated
  • Serve and enjoy!
