Jalapeno Popper Sausage Boats: Easy Party Appetizer Recipe

Ingredients

  • Linked Italian sausage
  • 8 oz block of softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar jack cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sweet and spicy BBQ seasoning

Instructions

  • Mix everything except the sausages together in a bowl
  • Slice the sausages through the casing, about halfway into the sausage
  • Open and flatten them slightly
  • Fill the sausages with the jalapeño popper mixture
  • Place the sausage boats into the air fryer or oven
  • Set the temperature to 350°F
  • Cook for 10–15 minutes or until the sausages reach 165°F internal temperature
