One Pot Cajun Sausage & Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 tsp of olive oil
  • 1 pound smoked sausage
  • 2 cans of French onion soup
  • Enough rice to fill soup cans back up( 5 minute rice )
  • Water
  • Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in pan or skillet
  • Once warm brown sausage cut into coins
  • Once browned add soup , fill cans back up with water & add to pot
  • Add butter & Cajun seasoning to taste
  • Fill soup cans up with rice
  • Bring to a simmer and cover
  • Let cook for 10-15 or until rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed
  • Then enjoy !
