Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil.
Add the sliced onion and sweet peppers. Cook until tender and lightly caramelized. Season with the garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, Worcestershire sauce, ground mustard, and a pinch of salt. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the ground chicken. Season with the garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, Worcestershire sauce, ground mustard, and salt. Cook until browned and fully cooked through.
Meanwhile, heat a small amount of oil and lightly fry the corn tortillas until just crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Place one slice of provolone cheese on the inside of each tortilla and one slice on the outside. Allow the cheese to melt.
Fill each taco with the cooked ground chicken, then top with the sautéed peppers and onions.
Generously drizzle with the homemade white American cheese sauce.
Serve immediately while hot.
Homemade White American Cheese Sauce Instructions
In a saucepan, pour in the evaporated milk and heat over medium heat.
Add the white American cheese slices one or two at a time, stirring constantly until completely melted and smooth.
Season with white pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, and salt to taste.
Continue stirring until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
Remove from the heat and drizzle generously over the tacos.
