Place meat on a cutting board or in a bowl and season with the all-purpose seasoning and garlic butter seasoning.
Place the potatoes in a mixing bowl, drizzle with a tbsp of olive oil, and sprinkle with some of both seasonings.
In a cast iron skillet, pour in about 2 tbsps of olive oil and allow it to heat up.
Once the oil is hot, add in the stew meat and sear on both sides (3-4 minutes each side).
Once all the meat is seared place into a lightly greased crockpot, keeping the meat to one side.
Then add the potatoes to the other side.
Sprinkle the minced garlic on top of the meat and potatoes.
Then place the butter pats around on top.
Cover and cook on low 7-8 hours or high 4-5 hours.
Serve when ready.
