Smoked Bologna and Pimento Cheese Sliders

Ingredients

  • 12 pack slider buns
  • 16 oz. smoked/fried bologna (sliced)
  • 11oz. Palmetto pimento cheese
  • 6 tbsps. melted butter
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 2 tbsps. brown sugar
  • 2 tsps. poppy seeds
  • 1 tbsp. yellow mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • If the slider buns aren't already sliced, carefully cut them in half horizontally.
  • Place the bottom halves in a 9x13 baking dish and layer the bologna evenly on top.
  • Spread the pimento cheese over the cut sides of the top buns, then place them on top of the bologna.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and poppy seeds until well combined and the sugar is dissolved.
  • Slowly pour the butter mixture evenly over the sliders.
  • Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the sliders are heated through.
  • Let them cool slightly before serving.
