Smoked Chili: Bold Flavor in Every Bite

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 cans fire roasted diced tomatoes
  • 1 small can green chilies
  • 1 tbsp garlic jalapeño rub
  • 1 package chili seasoning
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 4 cups beef stock
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Mix 1 tbsp hot sauce, garlic jalapeño rub and red pepper flakes with the ground beef
  • Form the beef into a loaf and place it on a wire rack
  • In a Dutch oven, add tomatoes, green chilies, chili seasoning, remaining hot sauce and beef stock
  • Set your smoker to 275°F
  • Place the wire rack with the beef loaf on top of the Dutch oven and place everything in the smoker
  • Smoke for 1 hour
  • Remove from the smoker
  • Break up the meat into the chili and mix well
