Smoky Surf and Turf Quesadilla Recipe: A Flavorful Twist

Ingredients

  • Smoked brisket or cooked steak
  • 6-7 large shrimp
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic paste
  • All purpose seasoning
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup cooked diced bacon
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon all purpose seasoning

Instructions

  • Chop up your brisket
  • In a bowl, add the shrimp, garlic paste, seasoning and oil
  • Mix and set aside to marinate
  • Heat up your griddle or pan and add some olive oil
  • Cook the shrimp all the way through
  • Remove the shrimp and chop them up
  • Add butter to the griddle or pan and sprinkle parmesan over the butter
  • Add a tortilla, top with cheddar, brisket, shrimp and mozzarella
  • Cover with another tortilla
  • After a couple minutes and the cheese is melting, flip the quesadilla and cook for another couple minutes
  • Remove from the griddle and slice into 4ths
  • For the cream sauce: add butter, garlic paste and bacon to a pan and sauté for 2–3 minutes
  • Pour in the cream and heat through
  • Add the parmesan
  • Simmer until the sauce reaches desired thickness
