Preheat oven to 350°.
In a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer, mix together sugar, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Slowly add in the flour mixture to the sugar mixture.
Once well combined stir in the chopped pecans.
Pour the bread mixture into a 9X13 greased casserole dish and bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow the bread to slightly cool before slicing.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
