Sweet Pecan Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsps. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • In a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer, mix together sugar, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Slowly add in the flour mixture to the sugar mixture.
  • Once well combined stir in the chopped pecans.
  • Pour the bread mixture into a 9X13 greased casserole dish and bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow the bread to slightly cool before slicing.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
