Tuna Fish Croissants with Apple and Dill

Ingredients

  • 4 can light tuna in water, drained 5 oz
  • 6 hard boiled eggs, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, finely diced optional
  • 1/4 cup relish sweet or dill
  • 1 finely diced apple any crisp variety
  • 1-2 tsp dill (fresh or dried to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Veteran's Blackened
  • Seasoning
  • 1-2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise adjust to your preference
  • 6 buttery croissants
  • Leaf lettuce optional

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, flake the drained tuna with a fork.
  • Add chopped eggs, celery (if using), relish, diced apple, and dill.
  • Sprinkle in Veteran's Blackened Seasoning, Old Bay, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add mayonnaise and gently mix until everything is well combined.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  • Chill in the fridge for at least
  • 30 minutes for best flavor.
  • Spoon tuna mixture onto buttery croissants. Add lettuce if using.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!
