These Mardi Gras twists are a total game-changer, trust me! I whipped these up for a little festive flair, and they’ve quickly become a crowd favorite. Picture this: gooey cinnamon rolls, rich cream cheese, and a touch of Biscoff, all twisted together and drizzled with icing.

Seriously, they disappear faster than a cold beer in July.

What I love about these twists is they’re not just delicious; they’re super simple to make too. With vibrant yellow, green, and purple sanding sugar on top, they’re a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Whether you’re celebrating Mardi Gras or just looking for a fun treat, these bad boys will definitely bring the party!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

First off, the flavor combination is out of this world. The sweet cinnamon rolls paired with the creamy richness of whipped cream cheese and the unique taste of Biscoff create a deliciously indulgent treat that’s hard to resist. Plus, the vibrant colors from the sanding sugar make them a hit at any gathering-everyone loves a little eye candy with their dessert!

Another thing I love? They’re so easy to make! You can whip these up in under 30 minutes, which means more time for you to enjoy the festivities.

Whether you’re hosting a party or just treating yourself, you can feel like a rock star in the kitchen without spending all day slaving over the stove.

Ingredients & Tools You’ll Need

Alright, let’s gather our goodies. You’ll need two tubes of Grands Cinnabon cinnamon rolls, because let’s be real-nothing beats that gooey goodness. We’re also grabbing a tub of whipped cream cheese, which adds a delightful creaminess to our twists.

And don’t forget a container of Biscoff for that unique flavor kick-it’s a game-changer!

You’ll also want some yellow, green, and purple sanding sugar to give our twists that festive Mardi Gras touch. A baking sheet lined with parchment paper is essential for easy cleanup, and I recommend using zip-lock bags for piping the cream cheese and Biscoff. It’s a little hack that makes everything smoother-trust me on this one!

How To Make It

Now that we’ve got everything ready, let’s dive into the fun part! Making these Mardi Gras twists is straightforward and oh-so-satisfying. Just follow along, and I promise you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to create something so delicious!

Preparation

First things first, preheat your oven to 375°F. While that’s warming up, line your baking sheet with parchment paper. This step is key-it keeps things tidy and prevents sticking.

Now, roll out your cinnamon rolls and separate them into strips of two. This is where the magic starts!

Next, grab your zip-lock bags and fill one with the whipped cream cheese and the other with Biscoff. You can cut a small corner off each bag for easy piping. Once you’ve got that ready, you’ll want to lay out your cinnamon roll strips and run a bead of each filling on top.

Oh, trust me, you’ll want to load these up!

Cooking

Alright, now it’s time to get cooking! After piping your fillings, roll up the edges of the cinnamon roll strips and then braid them together. This part is super fun, and it adds a nice touch to the presentation.

Once your twists are all braided up, pop them in the oven for about 14 minutes. Keep an eye on them-they should turn golden brown and smell absolutely amazing.

After the timer goes off, pull them out and let them cool for about ten minutes. While they’re cooling, warm up the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls. Drizzle that gooey goodness over the top of your twists once they’ve cooled down a bit.

Then, sprinkle on the sanding sugar in a fun, festive pattern. You want these to look as good as they taste!

Serving & Variations

Once your Mardi Gras twists are ready, it’s time to dig in! Serve them warm for the best experience-the gooey filling and sweet icing are out of this world. These twists make a fantastic snack or dessert, and they’re perfect for sharing at parties or just enjoying on a lazy weekend.

As for variations, feel free to get creative! Swap out the Biscoff for other spreads like Nutella or peanut butter for a different flavor profile. You could also experiment with different toppings-maybe some crushed nuts or drizzled chocolate would be a fun twist.

And if you have leftovers (which I doubt you will), just store them in an airtight container for a few days. They’re still delicious the next day!

Wrapping Up

So there you have it-delicious Mardi Gras twists that are as fun to make as they are to eat. Whether you’re celebrating or just looking for a sweet treat, these will definitely hit the spot. Get ready to impress your friends and family with your baking skills, and have fun with the vibrant colors and flavors!
