Ingredients & Tools You'll Need

To pull off these Breakfast Rolls, you’ll need a handful of ingredients that are pretty easy to find. Start with one pizza crust in a roll from the biscuits section – I usually grab the pre-made stuff to keep things simple. Then you’ll need a stick of butter, which we’re going to melt and use to brush the rolls for that irresistible golden finish.

Now, let’s get into the good stuff – the fillings. We’re talking about one block of room-temperature cream cheese, a cup of shredded cheddar, and half a pound each of breakfast sausage and diced bacon. I like to go heavy on the cheese here because, let’s be honest, more cheese equals more happiness.

For seasoning, I recommend using all-purpose seasoning like Killer Hogs AP – it’s got a great flavor profile that really enhances everything.

How To Make It

Now that we've got our ingredients ready, let’s jump into making these Breakfast Rolls. This is where the fun begins! You’ll see how easy it is to pull this off, and I promise, it’s all about layering those delicious flavors.

Preparation

First up, preheat your oven or smoker. I usually set mine to around 375°F; this temp helps get that nice golden crust we’re after. While that’s heating up, let’s brown the sausage and bacon in a skillet.

You want them nice and crispy – that’s when the magic happens. Once they’re cooked, drain off any excess grease and set them aside to cool slightly.

Next, flour your work surface and roll out the pizza dough. You want it to be a nice rectangle – about 1/4 inch thick. Spread that room-temperature cream cheese in an even layer, leaving about an inch from the edges.

After that, sprinkle the shredded cheddar and your meat mixture on top. It’s starting to look delicious already!

Cooking

Now for the fun part – rolling it up! Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a log shape. Place it seam side down on a piece of parchment paper.

Then melt that stick of butter and mix in 1 teaspoon of the all-purpose seasoning. Brush some of that buttery goodness on the parchment paper before placing the roll on top. Don’t forget to brush the top of the roll too; we want that golden color to shine through!

Pop it in the oven and bake until golden brown, which usually takes about 35 minutes. You’ll know it’s done when the smell hits you and the edges look crisp. Once it’s out, let it cool for just a minute before slicing into those beautiful rolls.

Trust me, the gooey cheese pull will have everyone gathering around.

Serving & Variations

These Breakfast Rolls are super versatile, so feel free to get creative! You can serve them as is, or pair them with a side of fresh fruit or a light salad for a more balanced meal. If you want to spice things up, try adding jalapeños or your favorite hot sauce to the filling for an extra kick.

Got leftovers? No problem! Store them in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat them in the oven for a quick breakfast the next day.

You can even freeze them before baking – just thaw and bake when you're ready to indulge.

Wrapping Up

And there you have it – a fuss-free, delicious breakfast that’s sure to impress. Whether you’re in a hurry or have a bit of time to spare, these Breakfast Rolls are the way to go. So, gather your ingredients and let’s make some magic happen in the kitchen!
