Breakfast Pizza: Easy Stuffed Crust Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza crust in a tube ( I used pilsbury )
  • Nonstick spray
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup AP flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper ( coarse )
  • 6 strips thick bacon
  • 2 cups Colby jack cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 12-15 cooked sausage links
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 stick of butter

Instructions

  • Start by cooking bacon to desired doneness
  • While that’s going let’s make your gravy
  • Add half a stick of butter
  • Once melted add breakfast sausage and cook and crumble that
  • Once brown remove about 1/3 of sausage & reserve
  • To your skillet add flour , make sure it’s well combined and let cook for about a minute
  • Then slowly add in milk
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste
  • Once thick remove from heat
  • Then mix eggs , sour cream , 1 tsp salt , 1 tsp pepper , melt 1/4 stick of butter and scramble
  • Shred your cheese
  • Now let’s build this thing
  • Stretch out pizza crust on sprayed 9x13 cookie sheet , letting it hang over
  • Make border with sausage links
  • Fold crust over
  • Par bake for five minutes at 350f
  • Then add sausage a thin layer of cheese , bacon crumbles , sausage crumbles , scrambled eggs , then top with more cheese , bacon and sausage
  • Bake for another 15-18 minutes
  • Slice and enjoy !
