Country Fried Steak & Queso

Ingredients

  • 2 large thin cut chuck steaks
  • 1 tub of bacon up
  • 3 tsp All purpose seasoning
  • 3 tsp paprika
  • 3 tsp hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • Queso-
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1 cup pepper jack
  • 1 can chunky Rotel
  • 3 tsp Mexican seasoning
  • 2 tbs bacon up
  • 2 tbs of AP flour
  • 2 cups milk

Instructions

  • Pound Chuck steaks thin , and heat up one tub of bacon up
  • Whisk eggs milk and hot sauce together
  • Mix 3 cups of flour , all purpose seasoning & paprika together
  • Place steaks in flour then egg wash then back in flour
  • Once bacon grease reaches 350 fry about 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown
  • For the queso melt 2 tbs of bacon up once melted add 2 tbs of flour whisk for about a minute
  • Slowly add in milk
  • Bring to simmer
  • Add cheese, Rotel & Mexican seasoning
  • Once melted and brought to a simmer
  • Serve and enjoy
