Smoked Hamburger Steaks: Easy Recipe for Flavorful Grilling

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds 80/20 ground beef
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 2 white onions
  • 16 oz sliced mushrooms
  • Killer hogs steak seasoning
  • Killer hogs tx seasoning
  • 2 sticks butter
  • Brown gravy mix
  • 8 cups water
  • 2 tbs mayo

Instructions

  • Slice onions mushrooms , and peppers
  • Place in pan with two sticks of butter & some Tx seasoning
  • Smoke or bake for 45 minutes at 275 degrees
  • While those are cooking mix ground beef some TX and mayo In a bowl
  • Pat Into six large burgers
  • Sprinkle both sides with tx seasoning and steak rub
  • Let those sit in the fridge till needed
  • After the peppers and onions have cooled for 45 min
  • Get your steaks on the grill and smoke for thirty minutes
  • After thirty minutes add the steaks to the pan
  • Add 8 cups of gravy
  • ( make homemade if you want but I just use the mix to package directions )
  • Let that simmer for 30 more minutes
  • Then remove
  • Serve and enjoy !
