Why You'll Love This Recipe

First off, this dish is all about flavor. The creamy Alfredo sauce, combined with the crispy salmon patties, creates a mouthwatering combo that’s just irresistible. You’ll get that savory richness from the cream and cheese, balanced with the fresh zing of lemon, if you choose to add it.

It’s a party on your plate!

Another reason you’ll fall for this Salmon Pattie Alfredo Pasta is its simplicity. With just a handful of ingredients, you can whip this up in about 30 minutes. Perfect for those busy weeknights or when you have friends over and want to impress without breaking a sweat.

Plus, trust me, these patties disappear faster than a cold beer in July!

Lastly, this meal is versatile. You can easily swap out the fettuccine for your favorite pasta or adjust the seasonings to fit your taste. Whether you go for a little extra garlic or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, you can make it your own!

Ingredients & Tools You'll Need

We’ll also need a block of softened cream cheese to create that rich, creamy sauce, a splash of heavy whipping cream for extra decadence, and minced onion to bring in some sweetness. Don’t forget about the butter, Heath Riles Garlic Butter Rub, and Heath Riles Everyday Rub for seasoning. If you want to get fancy, a lemon sliced on the side is a great touch!

Now, make sure you have a cast iron skillet or a heavy-bottomed pan to cook everything in. This will help get the salmon patties nice and crispy while ensuring the sauce heats evenly. You’re all set-let’s get cooking!

How To Make It

Making this Salmon Pattie Alfredo Pasta is a breeze, and I’m here to guide you through every step. We’re going to start with some preparation to get everything ready before we dive into the cooking.

Preparation

First, heat your cast iron skillet with a little bacon grease over medium-high heat. This will give the patties a nice flavor and help them crisp up beautifully. While that’s warming up, season one side of your salmon patties with Heath Riles Garlic Butter Rub and the other side with Heath Riles Everyday Rub.

Once the skillet is hot, it’s time to fry those patties! Cook them for about four minutes on each side until they’re nice and golden brown. After that, set them aside to drain on paper towels.

While those are resting, you can get your pasta going according to the package instructions. Don’t forget to drain the noodles and set them aside when they’re done!

Cooking

Now for the fun part-let’s bring this dish together! In the same skillet, toss in two tablespoons of butter along with your minced onion. Sauté those down until they’re soft and fragrant, which shouldn’t take more than a few minutes.

This is where the magic happens-your kitchen will start smelling amazing!

Next up, combine the heavy whipping cream, softened cream cheese, and cream of poblano soup into the skillet. Turn the heat down to low and whisk everything together until it’s melted and well combined. You’ll want to keep stirring to ensure nothing sticks to the bottom of the pan.

Once your sauce is nice and creamy, season it with a little more of the Heath Riles Garlic Butter Rub to amp up the flavor. Then, toss in your cooked pasta noodles, mixing until they’re well coated in that luscious sauce. I like to let it sit for about five minutes so the noodles can soak up all that goodness.

Finally, it’s time to plate up! Serve the pasta in bowls and top it with those crispy salmon patties. If you’re feeling fancy, garnish with some fresh parsley and a sliced lemon on the side.

A squeeze of lemon juice over the patties really brings out all those delicious flavors!

Serving & Variations

This Salmon Pattie Alfredo Pasta is a fantastic dish all on its own, but there are plenty of ways to switch it up. For a little extra color and flavor, consider adding some steamed veggies like broccoli or spinach right into the pasta. They’ll complement the creamy sauce beautifully!

If you’re looking to make this dish lighter, you could swap the fettuccine for whole wheat or even a veggie-based pasta. And for those who love a bit of spice, a dash of red pepper flakes in the sauce will give it that kick!

As for leftovers, if you happen to have any (which is rare), they’ll keep in the fridge for a couple of days. Just reheat gently on the stovetop, adding a splash of cream if it seems dry. Trust me, this dish is just as good the next day!
